This blazer is designed for the average woman. It will look best on women between 162 and 172cm (5’4 and 5'8 ). Select your regular size for a fitted look or a size up for an oversized fit.

Producing on demand minimizes waste because we only order what we've sold. instead of waiting for that favorite piece of yours to be discounted, you pay it upfront for less, and wait a little bit longer for production and delivery.

Pre-sales are open to subscribers only for 48 hours before being open to the public with 30% off.
Once it goes into production, the pre-sale price is 15% off.
Once production is over, you pay full price, but you receive it immediately.
Product Care Instructions

After you're done wearing it, simply hang your blazer and let gravity take care of any folds or wrinkles.

If you're worried about smells, hang it by a window and let it air out.

Machine-wash on cold only. In case of blood-stains, let it soak in cold water overnight.

FRESH OFF THE BOAT—

This first drop is an ode to children of immigrants and blue-collar workers everywhere. Inspired by Fatima Ouassak’s book “Pour une écologie pirate” (For a Pirate Ecology), it’s a nod to those who went out to sea in quest of freedom, whose children are the rising tide against the status quo.
They don’t simply want to be tolerated: they want to be seen, heard and taken seriously.

All pieces were conceived for a woman in movement. She’s moving up the social ladder and the corporate ladder. She’s building a business, raising money, raising a family and nailing doors open for others. She doesn’t have time for clothes that get in her way.

The signature dash of pink lining is a gentle reminder of our motto:

Have you ever travelled from one meeting to the next holding your entire desk in your hands: computer, notebook, pencil, phone, key card, business cards, AirPods? We got you. Every garment has pockets deep enough to comfortably fit a large smartphone and everything else, except your computer.

The side adjusters and the "V shape" (or after dinner splits) in the back of your pants will make sure you stay comfortable all day long, for a long time. Don't worry about going up or down a size, with the side adjusters you can gain or lose up to 2 inches.

Minimum care

We love wool for minimum care. Wool is naturally insulating and anti-microbial. That means no sweat, no smell, no wash — at least not for 12 wears. Just air them out on a hanger overnight.

We pick wool derived from extensive farming. Basically fewer sheep on more land allows the earth to regenerate and biodiversity to thrive. Sheep are only in contact with humans twice a year for shearing and a medical check up. No force-feeding. No mulesing. No apologies necessary.

Short supply chain

We source two types of fabrics: deadstock fabrics purchased in France and certified fabrics woven in Portugal. Everything else, from hangtags to packaging is also made in Portugal to ensure that Scarlet Empyre products travel less than 1500 miles from fabric to finished garment. The only way we could do better is if you moved here, too.
