we only produce what you order
Our pieces are just too good to sit on a shelf, unsold, untouched, unloved. Since we can only produce limited runs, we want to make sure every last one will have a home and a woman to run the world with.
we never use synthetic fibers
We're not being snobs, but we won't be caught dead with polyester. It may have advantages in some applications, but when it comes to tailoring, only natural materials make the cut.

That's what we look for and we don't compromise. We design our garments to last a lifetime, not a season. From the fibers we select all the way to manufacturing, we make sure every piece is built to evolve with you.
we source fabrics we can trace
Our fabric sourcing is built on two principles:
1.Fabrics must be second-hand. We're talking high-end deadstock sold off by manufacturers or excess inventory from luxury fashion brands.
2. If it's not second-hand, it's certified.
There's no in-between.
we keep suppliers close to the vest
We source two types of fabrics: deadstock fabrics purchased in France and certified fabrics woven in Italy. Our products are manufactured in a family-run atelier in a small town outside of Porto. Everything else, from hangtags to packaging comes from the same Portuguese. The only way we could do better is if you moved here, too.

is an ode to the women who fight the status quo by going places they're not expected, and often not welcome.
